2023 Boston Marathon

UPDATE:  Due to a stress fracture sustained during her training, Michele Blackburn will be unable to run the Boston Marathon on April 17. Throughout her months of training and preparing for the marathon, Michele’s goal has been to bring awareness and raise funding for the lymphedema therapy she received at Milford Regional Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine. She received her lymphedema diagnosis as a result of injuries she suffered from the Boston Marathon bombings ten years ago. Although she will not be running the 26.2 miles to Boston, the Milford Regional community is asking for your continued support of Michele’s goal.

We extend our sincerest appreciation to Michele for her friendship and meaningful efforts on behalf of Milford Regional. She has inspired countless people with her remarkable courage, strength, and determination.
