Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation gratefully welcomes charitable support through donor advised funds (“DAF”), which are often managed by financial services firms (e.g., Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab, etc.) or non-profit community foundations (e.g., the Boston Foundation). If you’d like to contribute to Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, you may direct your DAF administrator to send your distribution to:

Honor/Memorial Gifts

Making a gift in memory or honor of a loved one is a great way to pay tribute to that individual and recognize the special care he or she may have received from a nurse or doctor. Contributions can celebrate any occasion including anniversaries, graduations, birthday and holidays.

Milford Regional gratefully accepts honor and memorial gifts and treats each gift with individualized attention. When Milford Regional receives an honor or memorial gift, a special letter is sent to the person identified by the donor. The amount of the contribution is never revealed. The donor also receives a letter of acknowledgment.

Obituary Suggestion

In lieu of flowers, the family highly encourages you to make a donation in our loved one’s memory to (Fund of their choice), c/o the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, 14 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01757.

Maternity Memories Wall

A wonderful way to honor the birth of a special baby while benefiting the Maternity Center now and in the future. With your gift of $250, your baby will be remembered with a rocking horse plaque on the Maternity Memories Wall and make continuous enhancement in our Maternity Center possible. Memorial Plaque

For a memorial gift of $1,000 or more, you may request that a name be added to the memorial plaque in the chapel. Please contact the Foundation Office at 508-422-2228 for more information.

Many companies set aside special funds each year to match contributions their employees or retirees make to qualified non-profit organizations. Most often, companies match contributions dollar for dollar, but matches can vary. Check your company’s matching guidelines for more information. Employer matching gifts increase the impact of your personal support and provide more resources for the community Milford Regional serves.

You may make a gift to Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation by transferring stock or shares of a mutual fund. You’ll receive tax credit for the full current market value of your stock on the date of transfer. If you have held the stock for more than one year, no capital gains will be paid by you, and the full market value can be counted as a charitable gift for income tax purposes.
